Corporate Communications Specialist at FLOW St. Vincent Limited, Nolisha Miller, has given a commitment that the company will continue to provide support to the Diabetes Awareness Campaign, spearheaded by the Be Fit Movement.
The Be Fit 5K run and the Flow Dance 2 Fitness road edition was organized to raise awareness about childhood diabetes and saw the participation of over 1,500 persons.
Organizer of the event, Lindon James said it was significant to have the schools’ involvement as it is a way of not only getting them active but also help them to understand diabetes.
He said the BeFit Movement has more initiatives in the pipelines.
