Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has expressed dismay over the theft of a number of items from the newly constructed Diagnostic and Wellness Complex at Georgetown.
The Prime Minister said he was informed that several items including chairs and pillows, for use at the Accident and Emergency Department of the new facility, were stolen.
The Prime Minister said he has requested that there be heightened security at the Medical Complex, and he has also spoken with the Police about investigations into the incident.
