The D.A.R.E Unit of the local Police Force will be holding a series of graduation ceremonies this month, to mark the end of the 2017-2018 school year.

A release from the Police says the ceremonies are being held to acknowledge the participating pupils at primary schools across the country.

The first ceremony is set to take place this afternoon at the Evesham Resource Centre, for pupils in Marriaqua, Cane End and Belmont, while the second will be held tomorrow at the Biabou Resource Centre, for pupils in Stubbs and Biabou.

The third ceremony is slated for Monday 28th May at the Scout Headquarters at Arnos Vale, for pupils from Sion Hill, Dorsetshire and Fair Hall, and the 4th event will be held on Wednesday May 30th at the Chateaubelair Methodist School, for pupils in Fitzhughes, Chateaubelair and Westwood.

The final ceremony will take place on Thursday May 31st at the Old Montrose Police Station for pupils of the Kingstown Preparatory School.

All ceremonies are scheduled to begin at 1:00pm
