The Sustainable Grenadines Incorporated, SUSGREN, said it is pressing ahead with its Junior Rangers program.
Executive Director of SUSGREN, said the objective of the program is to create Youth Environmental Leaders by having children involved in programs of environmental management.
Dr. Lorde said SUSGREN recently received pledges for funding from the Organization of American States, OAS, and the Phillip Stevenson Foundation, to continue the program. He said the organization will be hosting a Nature Camp to train twenty four new Junior Rangers.
Dr. Lorde outlines some of the topics which the Junior Rangers program will cover. He says they will resume the program in the latter part of this year.
