Earl Ole George Daniel was forced to bring a premature end to his Dance Marathon, after injuring his knee.
Mr. Daniel was planning to dance for seven days with the intention of breaking the world record, but the event was called off, due to the injury.
Speaking with NBC News this morning at the Memorial Hall, Mr. Daniel said the decision was taken this morning after he was told he should not risk hurting himself further.
The Dance Marathon was also being held to highlight the situation in relation to violence and crime in SVG and also to raise awareness on the dangers of Diabetes.
