This weekend will see the culmination of Carnival activities in the Windward and Leeward sides of the country.
The activities will kick off tonight with the Miss Windward and Miss Leeward Beauty Pageant.
In the Windward Pageant six young Leeward will vye for the Miss Windward 2018.
They are Nicole Stephens – Miss Magun; Wallicia Browne – Miss Georgetown; Sabrina Browne – Miss chapmans; Itallia Andrews – Miss North Union; Shafiker Hector – Miss New Grounds and Deantai Davis – Miss Biabou.
They will make an Introductory appearance as well as in Swimwear; Talent; Evening Wear and Interview.
The Pageant takes place at the Chili Playing Field from 8pm.
And … in the Miss Leeward Pageant the contestants are Feanique Baptiste – Miss Chateaubelair; Alicia Harry – Miss Rose Bank; Kimora Browne – Miss Petit Bordel; Terrecia Rock – Miss Barrouallie and Amanda Pierre – Miss Fitzhughes.
The show takes place at the Petit Bordel Hard Court from eight tonight.
Revellers will then hit the streets on Saturday morning for Jouvert and this will be followed with the Afternoon Street Party in the two constituencies.
