Seven former students of the Community College – Divisions of Technical, Teacher, and Nursing Education will be recognized today, at a special ceremony to be hosted by the Ministry of Education.
The students will be presented with scholarships, bursaries and tuition awards based on their academic achievement in the external exit exams of May-June, 2017.
Three students – Shecania Small; Timeisha Jacobs and Shenika Samuel will each receive three year scholarships.
Two students – Tyeisha Garraway and Janeika Straker will be presented with Bursaries and Adonica Bynoe-Barnon and Shandeen Johnson will receive Tuition Awards.
The Awards Ceremony will take place at the Lecture Theatre of the Community College from nine this morning.
Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves is expected to deliver remarks at the ceremony, which will be broadcast live on NBC Radio.
