The Annual Military Parade was held at the Victoria Park this morning, as Vincentians celebrate their 39th Anniversary of Political Independence.
Vincentians and visitors turned out in their numbers to witness the Parade, which began at eight this morning.
Several Dignitaries attended the Parade including Governor General Sir Frederick Ballantyne; Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves; other Members of Parliament and Members of the Diplomatic Corps.
The Parade will include the usual contingents from the Royal SVG Police Force; the Auxiliary Police Forces, the SVG Cadet Corps and several other Uniformed Organizations.
Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves delivered his address to the Nation at this morning’s Military Parade.
It was broadcasted live on NBC Radio.
