The Garifuna Heritage Foundation today launched the official program of activities for its 7th Annual International Garifuna Conference, which is scheduled to take place from March 6th to the 13th.
Delivering remarks during today’s launch, President of the Garifuna Heritage Foundation, David “Darkie” Williams said the Foundation has played a very important role over the years in the celebration of National Heroes and Heritage Month.
Mr. Williams said the Foundation prides itself on educating the Vincentian public as their programs seek to help retrieve the lost culture of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Mr. Williams said this year they will be hosting a wide range of activities as the nation celebrates National Heroes and Heritage Month in March, with three main events.
