A March and Rally aimed at addressing the issue of Violence against Women and Children, is scheduled to be held in Kingstown this afternoon.
The event dubbed “Stop the abuse of women and children” has been organized by Ketesha Davis, a Guidance Counselor and Teacher at the Spring Village Methodist School.
This afternoon’s program will include a March and Rally commencing at the Peace Memorial Hall from 4 p.m.
The rally will see a prayer session, facilitated by pastors from different denominations across the country along with presentations from children and adults.
Mrs. Davis is encouraging people to wear the colour Orange today to show their support in addressing the issue of Violence against Women and Children.
