The University of the West Indies, UWI, has given the assurance that it will support St. Vincent and the Grenadines in its ongoing volcano relief effort.

The assurance came from Dr. Luz Longsworth, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Global Affairs and Principal, UWI Open Campus, during a live Virtual Forum, hosted last night by the UWI.

Organizers of last night’s event, dubbed Rally Round SVG say it was aimed at sharing information on the mobilizing of relief efforts to support St. Vincent and the Grenadines, in the wake of the explosive eruption of La Soufrière volcano.
