The Seismic Research Centre of the University of the West Indies said yesterday that explosions and accompanying ashfall, of similar or larger magnitude, are likely to continue to occur over the next few days.

Lead Scientists, Professor Richard Robertson said that satellite imagery show that the new and old dome at the crater have been destroyed.

Meanwhile , Deputy Prime Minister and Parliamentary Representative for North Windward, Montgomery Daniel spoke about the extensive damage to vegetation due to the current explosive eruption of La Soufriere Volcano.

Minister Daniel toured the area on Sunday, and provided an update on the devastation on NBC’s Face to Face Program yesterday.

The Central Water and Sewerage Authority is working assiduously to address the water shortage problem across St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
