Governor General Dame Susan Dougan has urged Vincentians to focus on national development, despite the challenges which have emerged as a result of the Covid 19 Pandemic and the explosive eruption of La Soufriere Volcano.
Delivering a message to mark the 42nd Anniversary of Independence, Dame Susan highlighted the need for unity, to tackle these challenges.
The Governor General called on Vincentians to work together to rebuild and strengthen existing systems.
