The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force is reporting an increase in the incidence of burglaries in the Central Division.
This was disclosed by Assistant Superintendent of Police Junior Nero, during the On The Beat programme aired on NBC Radio last night.
ASP Nero said the burglars have been targeting homes which are left unoccupied when persons travel overseas.
ASP Nero advised persons who are travelling overseas to ensure that proper arrangements are in place to secure their homes.
