Senior education officers encourage students to take full advantage of their education

Students in St. Vincent and the Grenadines have been told that Education is the foundation on which to build a better  brighter future.

That is according to Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education Myccle Burke while delivering remarks on behalf of the Minster of Education who is away on official business.

He is encouraging the nation’s students embrace their education with enthusiasm and dedication.

Meanwhile, Chief Education Officer Kay Martin-Jack outlined the importance of education in carving the way forward.

Sixty-six awards were presented to graduates of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Community College who excelled in the 2023 Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE), as well as the Associate Degree and Teacher Education programs.

This year; 26 National Scholarships, 7 Exhibition Awards, 4 Special Awards and 29 Bursaries have been awarded.

The event was held with the theme “Carve your legacy – Carry the Baton”.
