Start time of the Independence Military Parade will remain at 8 am

This year’s Independence Military Parade scheduled for Friday October 27^th will take place as customary at 8am.

A formal request was made by the Parade Commander to shift the time of the Parade from 8am to 5pm, due to the heatwave affecting the country.

But, Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said on Radio on Sunday that it is too late to make the necessary changes this year.

Members of Uniformed Organizations will be involved in the Military Parade on Friday October 27^th to celebrate the country’s 44^th Anniversary of National Independence.
