Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of Crime, Trevor Bailey says the community walkabout initiative carried out by the police is not a charade.
ACP Bailey made the statement while speaking on the “Talk Yuh Talk” Program on NBC Radio on Tuesday.
He said the initiative serves as a tool to gather information to address issues affecting the communities.
ACP Bailey said it defeats the purpose of conducting walkabouts if the concerns raised by the public are not addressed.
