The Ministry of Sports has conducted several assessments to further determine the use of sports as a measure to tackle crime in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

Minister of Sports Dr Orando Brewster said the assessments focused on promoting youth and community engagement and involvement and personal development.

Minister Brewster also indicated that the government allocated seventy-five thousand dollars for the Sports against crime initiative.
