Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves has restated the government’s commitment to the government of Cuba and its Medical mission.
Prime Minister Gonsalves did so while speaking in Jamaica at the East Portland Public Forum of the People’s National Party.
The Prime Minister was speaking about the United States announcement of sanctions and visa restrictions on government officials and their families who participate in the Cuban Medical programme.
The United States has likened the programme to slavery and described it as human trafficking
Prime Minister Gonsalves said he knows the government is not involved in the exploitation of Cuban workers.
