Barbados “LADY TRIDENTS are Champions of the revived Windward Islands Football Association (WIFA) Women’s 2025 Championship.
They beat St Lucia 2-1 after extra-time in the Final to bring the curtains down on the Championship at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex on Saturday night.
The goals for Barbados “LADY TRIDENTS were scored Rianna Cyrus, and Taryn Sutherland grabbed the winner in extra-time after a 1-1 draw in regulation time.
Krysan St Louis converted the goal for St Lucia.
Earlier, a much improved St Vincent and the Grenadines Senior Team “LADY HEAT” defeated the winless Dominica 3-0 to clinch the 3rd Place Playoff.
The goals were scored by Asanteni Charles netted a double and Azumi Quow scored the other goal.
