Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Security, St. Clair Leacock, has highlighted the tangible benefits of the Regional Security System in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
Minister Leacock, recently attended the Council of Ministers Meeting in St Lucia where he took over the role of chairmanship from Saint Lucia’s Prime Minister, Philip J. Pierre.
At a press conference this morning, to brief the public on the meeting, Minister Leacock noted how the RSS has bolstered disaster response, logistics, and food security in SVG.
He pledged to build on these efforts while prioritizing a crackdown on rising youth crime and violence as a critical next step.
