The Zero Hunger Trust Fund, a government-established statutory body, has served over two million meals to children across St. Vincent and the Grenadines over the last ten years.
This was disclosed during a Commemorative Launch and Dialogue held this morning to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Fund.
Delivering the Feature address at the ceremony, Prime Minister Dr. Hon. Dr. Godwin Friday said the purpose of the Fund has always been to eliminate hunger throughout the nation.
Prime Minster Friday noted that success is measured by the ability to achieve that objective, ensuring that hunger never again becomes a reality in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Dr. Friday congratulated the Board of Directors of the Zero Hunger Trust Fund, and commended their dedication over the last decade.
The Commemorative Launch and Dialogue are among a series of activities to be held with the theme: 10 Years of Impact: Positioning for the Decade of Systems Transformation
