
Vincentians had an opportunity to celebrate their indigenous cultural heritage through the Indigenous Peoples Week of activities, which culminated on Friday.
The Department of Culture hosted the activities to coincide with World Indigenous Peoples Day on August 9th and formed part of the Emancipation Month celebrations.
One of the highlights of the activities was an exhibition at the Cruise Ship Terminal Lawn
Research Officer at the Department of Culture, Rawdica Stephen expressed gratitude to the organizing team at the Department of Culture and all who contributed to the successful hosting of the events.
