Prime Minister, Dr. Hon. Godwin Friday has expressed sadness at the passing of former Parliamentarian, Alpian Allen.
In a tribute on Thursday Prime Minister Friday said Mr. Allen gave many years of his life in service to St. Vincent and the Grenadines and his contribution will be remembered with gratitude.
Prime Minister Friday thanked the late Alpian Allen for his tremendous service, noting that his passing is a great loss to the country.
Mr. Allen died on Tuesday at the age of 86. He entered Parliament in 1989 and served until 2001.
