BIABOU FOOTBALL LEAGUE RESULTS

Sparta FC of Diamonds defeated CU-SAC Choppins United 4-3 yesterday afternoon in the Hairoun Beer Biabou Football League at the Biabou Playing Field.

Sunalie Richards scored two goals for Sparta FC of Diamonds and there was one each from Colson King and Jarrel McMaster.

The goals for CU-SAC Choppins United were scored by Avenger Duncan and Miles McKenzie. They benefitted from an own goal scored by Sparta FC of Diamonds.

At half past four this afternoon, Brownstown United of Georgetown will meet Walvaroo City of Sion Hill also at the Biabou Playing Field.




SVG COMMUNITY COLLEGE BASKETBALL RESULTS

The last two preliminary matches of the QuickCash St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College Basketball Championship will be played today at the College’s Campus at Villa.

At 1:30 pm, Year two Arts, Sciences and General Studies Pacers will meet Year One Arts, Sciences and General Studies Shooters, and at 2 pm, Year One Technical Hornets will oppose Year Two Technical Ballers.

Year two Arts, Sciences and General Studies Pacers and Year One Tech Hornets confirmed their spots in the Final, when they recorded wins on the last day of preliminary games of the QuickCash Corp SVG Community College Basketball competition on Tuesday.

Year two Arts, Sciences and General Studies Pacers schooled Year One Arts,Sciences and General Studies Shooters 73 – 12 in the first scheduled game. Darreo Glasgow sunk 25 points while Jesse King added 23 points.

Year One Tech Hornets did not break a sweat as they won by default from Year Two Tech Ballers.

The competition will culminate on Thursday with the Final from 2:00pm, featuring Year two Arts,Sciences and General Studies Pacers against Year One Tech Hornets at the Villa campus court.

George Stephens Secondary School defeated Petit Bordel Secondary School by six wickets in the only match played yesterday in the Scotiabank Secondary Schools Junior Under-15 Cricket Championship at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex.
