Unrulies defeated Rumrunners 2 games to 1 in the first round of the best of 3 games series of the Inaugural National Rugby Sevens League match at the Buccament Bay Playing Field at the weekend.
Unrulies took the lead by winning two out of the 3 games with outstanding performances by George Kruger, Godfrey Matthews and Jonty Bowens.
However, Rumrunners kept play competitive with good performances by Leonard Matthews, Brendon Matthews and Kemi Francois with six tries.
The next round of matches is scheduled for August 30th at the Petit Bordel Playing Field.
