St. Vincent and the Grenadines continues to benefit from a longstanding diplomatic relations with Korea, as today a sum of 75 thousand US and several historical books were handed over by that country.

During a handing over ceremony this morning at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Conference Room, the monies were handed over for use in the acquisition of medical equipment for the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital and the books to the National Library and Archives Department.

Speaking during the event, Minister of Health Clayton Burgin said the bond with the Korean Government is in keeping with the mission of incorporating various governments in the development of the health sector in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

He also thanked the people and Government of the republic of Korea for their welcomed contribution to the National Health Sector.
