Individuals, Craftsmen, Artists and people from the private sector will participate in a Yard Sale which will be hosted by the Alliance Française this week.
A release from Alliance Française said the Yard Sale will be held in collaboration with the SVG National Trust as a means of bringing a Christmas day event to the public, and to raise proceeds that will go towards the Alliance Française and the SVG National Trust educational and cultural activities.
It said new and used items including jewelry, hand bags, cosmetics, books, ceiling fans, keyboard and other items will be on sale at special prices.
The release said food will also be sold and children can be busy having fun in the kids’ corner with face painting, Christmas cards and decorations making.
The Alliance Française Yard Sale will take place on Friday December 20th, from 11am to 5pm at the Old Public Library at Heritage Square.
During the event there will be a dance workshop for children at 2pm and a DELF certificate giving ceremony at 3:30pm. Entrance to the event is free.
