Close to 130-thousand dollars was received in pledges yesterday in the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Relief 2014 Radiothon.
The Radiothon raised 127-thousand, 507 dollars and all donations will be used to assist persons affected by the trough system on Christmas Eve.
In addition to the monetary pledges, the St. Vincent Brewery Limited says it will be donating 20-thousand US dollars in Medical supplies.
Donations towards the SVG Relief 2014 will continue to be accepted and can be deposited at the Bank of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Account Number 137736.
Several Radio Stations were involved in yesterday’s Ratiothon, which originated from NBC Radio, the National Broadcasting Corporation.
