The Ministry of Health has been providing Psychological assistance to victims of the December 2013 Trough System

The Ministry of Health has been providing Psychological assistance to victims of the December 2013 Trough System, which caused severe flooding and landslides here.

That’s according to Health Psychologist at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, Dr. Jozelle Miller, who was a guest on NBC’s Views on Issues Program yesterday.

Meanwhile … as students return to the classroom today, Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioural Sciences in New York, Dr. Linda is of the view that the school environment will be helpful for children who were victims of the recent trough system.

Dr. Linda, Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioural Sciences at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.

She was speaking on yesterday’s Views on Issues Program which looked at the topic ”Psychological Aftermath of Natural Disasters”.
