Some $500,000 US worth of equipment and supplies were donated to the Milton Cato Memorial hospital earlier this week by the Janice Little Foundation.

Speaking at a handing over ceremony via Skype, one of the founder of the foundation Jacklyn James- Little said the donation came following the news of the 2013 Christmas devastation, where she was introduced to Dr. Ron Patterson of the Christian disaster Response by the Ambassador to the US lecelia Prince.
Little added other donations were also made by other medical institutions in the U.S.

She noted that many persons assisted in the collection of supplies solely to donate to this country’s hospital as well as the Red Cross association.

Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves in expressing much gratitude towards the generosity of the Janice Little foundation stated cardiac problems are one of the major causes of death.

He further mentioned that this country’s government is extremely proud of the works done by the founders Kevin and Jacklyn Little.
