Communications Officer at the St. Vincent Electricity Services (VINLEC), Tamara Jobb-Sprott said they continue to see less water for the generation of electricity.
She made this statement during the Face to Face program aired on NBC Radio as part of activities to observe World Water Week.
Water Week is being observed under the theme “Water and Energy”.
Mrs. Jobb- Sprott said this is largely due to deforestation and this continues to impact on the livelihoods of Vincentians.
She said they will continue to sensitize persons on the importance of water and how it can be conserved.
