Plans are well underway for the staging of the Miss SVG Beauty Pageant, which will be held under the theme “A Combination of Passion and Brilliance”.
Eight young ladies will vie for the coveted title of Miss SVG 2014 on May 31st at the Victoria Park.
The contestants are Fellisia Baptiste from sandy Bay, Selis Blair and Shackell Bobb from Richland Park, Karla Gellizeau from Edinboro, Shadeisha George from Campden Park, Vanika Hope from Chateaubelair, Tatiana Lespierre from Bequia and Jamilla Neverson from Vermont.
Speaking at a Media Conference yesterday, Chief Executive Officer Ashford Wood said the Beauty shows committee has been working on the training and development of the contestants to ensure they present quality performances on the night of the show.
Meanwhile … Mr. Woods also provided information on the Miss Carival show which has as its theme “Twenty-Nine Years of Exquisite Pageantry”
The reigning Miss SVG is Shara George and the reigning Miss Carival is Leslassa Armour Shillingford from Dominica.
