Director of the National Emergency Management Organisation, NEMO, Howie Prince says one hundred and fifteen persons are still residing in shelters across the country, following the passing of the December 2013 trough system.

Mr. Prince made the disclosure, during an exclusive interview with NBC news this morning. He however noted that most of the persons who were affected by the flooding have already returned to their homes.
Mr. Prince said NEMO is continuing to provide for the basic needs of persons who are still in shelters.

He said the process of reconstructing houses is progressing smoothly and hope to have everyone placed in their new homes soon.
