The first in a series of consultations and training workshops being organized by the Co-operative Division in the Ministry of National Mobilization on the Formation of Cooperatives and their benefits, is set to take place in Sandy Bay tomorrow.
The Division says the sessions are aimed at promoting and facilitating the establishment and development of Co-operatives as a mechanism for poverty reduction, food security, job creation and transformation of rural communities.
The first Consultation is scheduled to take place in Sandy Bay tomorrow for residents of Sandy Bay and surrounding communities.
The session will be held at the Sandy Bay Learning Resource Centre from 3pm.
Officers from the Co-operative Division will be in attendance.
