Minister of Labour Maxwell Charles, has reiterated his ministry’s commitment to ensuring that the rights of workers in St. Vincent and the Grenadines are protected.
The assurance came during a radio address to mark International Workers Day on Thursday, which was observed here under the theme: Mobilizing to Secure the Unions’ Gains.
Minister Charles said the ministry will continue to advocate for the rights of workers and to build on the significant gains which have been made thus far.
Minister Charles said the policies and programmes of the government have resulted in tangible benefits for the working people.
