Twenty-one year old Tevin Peters, a Bus Conductor of New Montrose was arrested and charged with entering Joyette’s Garage and stealing one .32 Revolver, valued EC$1,900.00;
Police say he also stole a quantity of gold and diamond jewellery, valued EC$90,000.00; EC$6,600.00 in cash and US$1,500.00 in cash, total value EC$102,505.00.
Peters is also charged with having a weapon in his possession, the property of Dennis Joyette of Glen, at the time of the robbery, (ii) with intent to commit the offence of murder of Dennis Joyette of Glen and (iii) using motor vehicle, PJ 551, without the consent of the owner or any other lawful authority, at Murray’s Village on 06.07.13.
Meanwhile … Steven James, 49yrs, chef of Cane Garden, was arrested and charged with possession of controlled drugs, “841 grammes of cannabis”, with intent to supply it to another, at Harbour Club, Kingstown on 23.05.14.
