Activities leading up to Fisherman’s Day will continue tomorrow, with the TOTS IN MARINE LIE SHOW.
The event, sponsored by the Bank of Nova Scotia, will feature twenty Pre-Schools displaying aspects of Marine Life.
The Fisheries Division says this will be done in a presentation and exhibition format beginning at nine tomorrow morning at the Memorial Hall.
Meanwhile … The Goodwill Fisherman’s Cooperative will host an Honorarium for Retired Fishers as well as a Fish Nite in Rose Place tomorrow from 5pm. This will be followed by a Beach Splash on Saturday.
The Female and Junior Fishing Competitions will be held on Saturday and on Sunday, Fisherfolk will attend a Church Service at the New Birth Ministries Church at Rose Place from 10am.
Fisherman’s Day activities will climax on Monday at the Calliaqua Fisheries Centre.
