Representatives from the Mas Band Beautex International say their preparations for Vincy Mas 2014 are progressing smoothly thus far.
Band Leader, Pearl Williams tells NBC News this year’s presentation dubbed Culture Pot will feature a total of six sections and they are catering for a three hundred and fifty Masqueraders.
She said however that thus far the registration process has been very slow.
Mrs. Williams is also appealing to members of the business community in St. Vincent and the Grenadines to support the Mas Bands in the form of sponsorship and other assistance which they can offer.
She is also appealing to the Business community to further assist the Carnival Development Corporation (CDC), which is facing a financial crisis currently.
