The Ministry of Agriculture will be taking steps to improve the quality of agricultural produce exported to the regional market.
Word of this came from Agriculture Minister Saboto Caesar, during a News Conference held this week to mark the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Agriculture and Winfresh.
Minister Caesar noted that there has been a marked deterioration in the quality of produce being shipped from St. Vincent and the Grenadines to Trinidad.
Minister Caesar said the Ministry is preparing to engage in a series of consultations, aimed at improving the arrangements for shipping produce to Trinidad.
