Persons attending the various events organized as part of the carnival festivities have been reminded to ensure that they comply with the No Glass Bottle Policy.
The reminder came from Assistant Superintendent of Police Jonathan Nicholls, during a Media Briefing hosted by the Carnival Development Corporation CDC yesterday
ASP Nicholls said the Police will be making checks during the Carnival period to ensure that persons use paper cups.
ASP Nicholls also said the Crime Prevention Unit in the Police Force will be hosting their Annual Crime Prevention Exhibition this Friday.
He said the display will highlight the various types of criminal activity that tend to occur during the carnival season.
