The Beauty Shows Committee of the Carnival Development Corporation says that the 2014 Miss Carival Pageant was overwhelmingly successful.
A release from the Committee said they had a successful week of Activities from June 30th to July 6th 2014 while contestants were in SVG.
The committee said there was also a smooth production and staging of the 29th pageant on July 4th 2014 at Carnival City, Victoria Park.
The results of the pageant were:
THE ESTELITA “LITTLE” VANLOO, JASON VANLOO, RICHARD MUNROE AWARD FOR MOST COMMUNITY SPIRITED CONTESTANT- KISWANA JEFFORD- GUYANA- FROM THE BIOS OF THE CONTESTANTS
MISS PHOTOGENIC- AMY STEPHEN- ST LUCIA- VOTED FOR BY THE PHOTOPGRAPHERS
MISS CONGENIALITY – FRANCINE BARON- DOMINICA-VOTED FOR BY THE CONTESTANTS

The other contestants were Zhane Padmore, Barbados, Alexandra Chastel, Martinique, Daneille Black, Jamaica, Genesis Seijas, Venezuela and Shadeisha George, SVG.
Meanwhile … For the 3rd year the Best dressed male and female awards among patrons was announced.
The winners are:
MALE- Sky Llewellyn of Mc Kies Hill, who will receive a gift basket from St Vincent Distillers Ltd. and
FEMALE – Indra Stewart of Sion Hill, who will receive dinner for two at Young Island Resorts Ltd.
