Representative if the International Labor Organization ILO Cleopatra Henry has highlighted the importance of social security to a country.
Miss Henry was speaking at the opening ceremony of the 25th heads of social security meeting here yesterday.
She said there are a number of benefits to be derived from having social security.
The two-day meeting is being held at the NIS Conference Facility, under the theme: Empowerment and Access for all Workers Through Social Security.
