The Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines is actively pursuing a Timber Housing Program for economically disadvantaged persons with physical or mental disabilities.
Details of this new program were outlined by Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves during a Media Conference yesterday.
He said the houses will be constructed with funds allocated for the December 2013 Recovery Program.
The Prime Minister said that Officials in the Ministry of Social Development are working along with the Ministry of Housing on this project.
