School Children Will Have A Chance To Show Skill With The Upcoming Launch Of The I-Square Competition

The National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC) will host an official launch this week for its Second Annual Idea and Innovation Competition known as the I-square competition.

The Competition is geared towards allowing students from Secondary and Tertiary level Institutions to put forward ideas that can implement new systems or improve existing systems in the current departments within the Public service and other state agencies that provide services to the public.

The students will be challenged to develop and present projects in the form of Ideas and Mobile Applications.

The competition will be held from September 11th 2014 to January 15th 2015.

All Secondary Schools, Technical Institutes, all Divisions of the Community College and the Medical Colleges are allowed to enter the competition and will be judged in separate categories.

The launch is scheduled to take place this Thursday September 11th at the Community College at Villa from 10am.

The main address will come from Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade, Commerce and Information Technology, Camillo Gonsalves.
