Organizers of the Second International Garifuna Summit will discuss plans for this year’s event, at a News Conference to take place here today.
The Briefing will be hosted by the Garifuna Heritage Foundation, and will be held at the Memorial Hall from ten this morning.
The Summit was originally scheduled to take place in March last year, but was postponed, due to the extensive damage and loss of infrastructure in St. Vincent and the Grenadines as a result of torrential rains and flooding in December 2013
This year’s event is set to take place from March 8th to 15th.
