The Ministry of Agriculture is expected to begin the export of root crops to the United Kingdom by the first half of this year.
Minister of Agriculture says these exports will be done through an initiative with WINFRESH, and it is part of the diversification of the Agricultural Sector.
He said this country can boast of exporting the most Root Crops than any other OECS Country.
Minister Caesar also pointed out that the Ministry is intensifying efforts in the battle against the Black Sigatoka Leafspot Disease.
