St. Vincent and the Grenadines is said to have had the highest annual average rate of economic growth among the independent countries of the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU) over the last decade.
This was disclosed by Government Senator, Luke Browne as he made his contribution to the debate on the 2015 National Budget in Parliament last week.
Senator Browne said despite the global financial downturn, date shows that the country continues to record economic growth.
