The Country Conference, which is aimed at Building Awareness about Disasters will be held under the theme “promoting a culture of safety: Building Resilience to natural disasters and stimulating Sustainable Development.”
Speaking at a Media conference this morning, Head of the Open Campus Deborah Dalrymple said a number individuals have been confirmed to do presentations at the conference.
Meanwhile … The Ministry of Education’s Disaster Risk Reduction Educator Idelia Ferdinand highlighted some of the topics that would be covered at the conference.
The two day conference is schedule to take place on March 11th and 12th at the NIS conference facility.
