Persons operating bicycles on the nation’s roads are being encouraged to take the necessary precautions to ensure their safety.
The advice came from Corporal Henry Providence of the Traffic Department during the Police on the Beat program aired on NBC Radio on Monday evening.
Corporal Providence said while there is legislation in place governing the use of peddle cycles, the onus is on the individual to implement the protective measures.
